Senior Adult Ministry
Our Senior adult ministry is called "The Winfield Keenagers." The "Keenagers" is a community-wide group that meets once a month for a pot-luck luncheon and an interesting program. Lifelong friends and new acquaintances look forward to coming together to enjoy each other's company, great food, and Christian-based programs that range from music to comedy to spiritual growth talks. The Keenagers go on trips in the Spring and Fall, and also occasional day-trips.

Joyce Dooley, the Director for Senior Citizen Programs of the Winfield Community Center, is bringing the program for our February Keenager meeting, Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 11:30 AM. Also, information about the Spring Keenager Trip will be available at the meeting.
Keenager Meetings:
Meeting dates: 2nd Tuesday of each month
Meeting time: 11:30 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m.
- Senior adults meet on Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the church activities building for pot-luck supper and dominoes.
- Some members of "The Winfield Keenagers" also meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month to travel to area nursing homes to sing hymns with the residents there. Meet at Winfield First Baptist Church at 12:30 p.m.
